White Cloud Minnows
The White Cloud Mountain Minnow is scientifically known as Tanichthys albonubes.
This small, elegant fish has a slender silver to olive body with a glowing horizontal stripe that runs from its eye to its tail. Its fins are often accented with bright red, orange, and white tips, especially in healthy, well-fed specimens. Adults grow to about 1.5 inches (4 cm).
Originally discovered in the White Cloud Mountains of China, they are beloved for their hardiness and peaceful temperament.
