At Aquatic Scapes, we take pride in providing healthy livestock and quality aquarium products. Due to the specialized nature of aquatic goods, please review our refund and final sale policy carefully before placing an order.

Live Fish and Aquatic Plants – Final Sale

All live fish, shrimp, snails, corals, and aquatic plants are considered final sale due to their sensitive and perishable nature.

We do not accept returns on live livestock.

If we offer a Live Arrival Guarantee, it will be outlined separately in our Shipping Policy and must follow all stated requirements to qualify.

Aquatic Scapes is not responsible for loss due to:

  • Improper tank cycling

  • Incompatible tank mates

  • Incorrect water parameters

  • Improper acclimation

  • Customer negligence or care errors

Customers are responsible for ensuring their aquarium is properly established before purchasing live animals.

Live Arrival Guarantee (If Applicable)

If a Live Arrival Guarantee is offered, customers must:

  • Submit clear photos of the livestock in the original, unopened bag within the required timeframe (typically within 2 hours of delivery)

  • Contact us the same day delivery occurs

  • Provide order number and supporting documentation

Failure to follow all requirements voids eligibility.

Shipping charges are non-refundable.

Approved claims may be issued as store credit at our discretion.

Dry Goods and Equipment Returns

Non-living items such as food, filters, heaters, décor, and aquascaping supplies may be eligible for return if:

  • Returned within 14 days of delivery

  • Unused and in original packaging

  • In resellable condition

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.

Refunds are issued once items are inspected and approved. A restocking fee may apply.

Opened or used equipment may not be eligible for return unless defective.

Defective Products

If you receive a defective non-living item, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos or video documentation.

We may offer:

  • Replacement

  • Store credit

  • Manufacturer warranty guidance

Defects caused by misuse, improper installation, or water damage are not covered.

Custom Aquascaping and Service Deposits

Deposits for aquascaping installations, custom builds, or special-order items are non-refundable.

Once custom materials are ordered or labor is scheduled, payments are considered final.

Rescheduling may be allowed with reasonable notice.

Cancellations

Orders may be canceled before shipment.

Once shipped, orders cannot be canceled.

Special-order items are final sale.

Refund Method

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method unless otherwise stated.

Shipping fees are non-refundable.

Aquatic Scapes reserves the right to refuse refunds that do not meet the conditions outlined in this policy.

Chargebacks and Disputes

By placing an order, you agree to contact Aquatic Scapes directly to resolve any concerns before initiating a chargeback or dispute.

Fraudulent disputes may result in refusal of future service.
